Types of dust collectors for smelting furnace flue gas

1. Gravity dust collector
Gravity dust collector is a simple and economical dust removal equipment. It uses gravity to separate particulate matter from smoke. However, gravity dust collectors have poor removal efficiency for small particulate matter and are suitable for flue gas treatment with larger particulate matter.
2. Inertia dust collector
Inertial dust collectors use inertial force to separate particulate matter by changing the direction of flue gas flow. It is suitable for the treatment of flue gas with large and high concentration of particulate matter. However, the inertial dust collector has poor removal efficiency for small particles.
3. Filter dust collector
Filter dust collector is currently the most widely used flue gas dust collector for smelting furnaces. It utilizes the pores and surface of the filter material to capture particulate matter. Filter dust collectors can be divided into cloth bag dust collectors, ceramic filters, electric dust collectors, etc. based on the material of the filter material. Among them, bag filter is the most common type, with high dust removal efficiency and long service life.
